(Used) Selmer Mark VI 92*** Tenor Sax Silver Plate
Possibly one of the rarest configurations of mark VI we've ever had: Original silver plated and american engraved with matching 92k neck serial and remanence of gold wash inside the bell!
This one of a kind horn has spent the majority of it's playing life in the US, clearly you can tell by the cosmetic wear that it's been regularly played for many years and undergone a selection of the usual repairs which seem to have been undertaken well with no lasting effect on playability.
The pads are relatively new and it was serviced to a good playing condition before arriving to us
It has a warm resonant core but with a subtle brilliance in the middle of the range than gives the horn a generous yet even tonal spread from top to bottom.
92*** serial number made in 1961
